ok, let's be honest: all this rhetoric is intended to be tacit permission to assasinate Obama
all the right wingers -- Glenn Beck, Limbaugh, GOP congresspeople, Palin, media pundits, etc.
what are they doing?
they are making false, provably false but INFLAMMATORY accusations that stir up the dangerously insane radical right wing shock troops -- and I say INTENTIONALLY.
Let's review some of the dog whistles that incite the unbalanced to think assasinating Obama would be the patriotic thing to do.
1. He's a dictator
2. He's going to kill your grandma
3. He's not a citizen and is president illegally
4. He's a commie or socialist
5. He's making it easier for people of color to gain power
6. he's a terrorist
7. He's a threat to your schoolchildren (codeword "controversial)
the list could go on, but let's face facts, for the first time in my recollection (and I"m 50 years old), we have had people OPENLY carrying weapons to presidential town hall. We've had people like Glenn Beck begging others to "eliminate" the president. We've had the open resurgence of white supremacist, seditionist groups given access to the media in a favorable light. We've had congresspeople openly mocking him during a speech and then pretending to make an apology and then rescinding that apology.
Le'ts face it folks, the secret service, the FBI and other agencies need to put an end to this and call it exactly what it is: domestic terrorism and conspiracy to murder the president.
I naively thought this would abate after the election and Palin lost, but if anything, these calls for his head are getting louder, more insistent and more prevalent.

Cutting Grandma's medicare and giving her percocet instead of surgery then giving her end of life counseling.

There's no telling how many are receiving "messages" from the RW loudmouths on the topic.

16. Sorry, Freddie, you are incorrect
because doing that is against the rules of this board. Yes, I saw some state that wish, but their posts were deleted and mods reminded us that we can't do that.
The more blatant ones were deleted but all the calls for him to be hanged stood.
