Many are asking exactly that.  If it's possible, why hasn't it already been done?  The real reason of course it that it is complete and utter bullshit.

Because the reality of squeezing money from a program that's been running in the red for decades and is on the verge of complete collapse under the weight of it's own bankruptsy (moral as well as financial) just cannot be made to match the rosy rhetoric of the Dhimmicrats.  It's like watching two heroin junkies arguing over a plastic spoon.  (Thanks to Robin Williams for that elegant mental image oh, so many years ago.)

IIRC, docs hate taking MedicAid because it stiffs them more than even Medicare does, and if they play by the rules without running up the bill at all they calculate they come up slightly short of breaking even on the Medicare patients (And make up for it on the backs of the commercially-insured, including Medicare round-out insurance).  Of coure there are docs and clinics that specialize in gaming the system and running up every possible charge on the Medicare and MedicAid cases while doing the most abbreviated version possible of the billed procedure or just plain lying about it, but they are the exception.

There was a foot doctor in Rock Hill SC several years ago that got caught scamming medicare. He was going into the old folks home and cutting there toe nails and charging $800 per person.

Yep, no doubt there is money to be found in every entitlement program, but not to the tune of funding a new one. Remember when Obama was all giddy that they cut 100M in govt programs shortly after he took office. He is an utter fool to think Americans are stupid. Here is the funny thing about that, all the stupid ones voted for him and need no sell job at all.

Medicaid is State run, not Federal.  Talk to your people in Atlanta.

Keep in mind, fellow conservatives, that all Medicaid does is pay the premiums, deductables, and co-payments in order that the person can receive Medicare.  Granted, both Medicare and Medicaid have too much waste.  But get rid of the waste in Medicare and you've virtually cleaned up Medicaid.

But like everyone has noted, Pelosi is lying ..... again.  If they could do it, why haven't they already?  Libs never think before they talk.
