We've got some fine people here in the Country Club, but it appears it's going to be a while yet before a new person enters these hallowed walls.

This is NOT criticism of anyone who posts only rarely, or hangs around only rarely; different strokes for different folks, and some of those not in the Country Club are some of the finest people one can hope to meet.

And some make up in quality for what they lack in quantity; JohnnyReb for example comes immediately to mind.  As do about 400 others.

Just like in real life.

Well, one has to take into consideration that some have easier access to being on conservativecave, than others, and so it's no denigration if one is lacking in days online.

Generally, it's the jobs people hold; some of us have jobs where we can be on the internet while working, without disrupting work, others have jobs with restricted access to the internet while working, and yet others have no access to the internet while working.

In my case, since I generally work from home, it's easier than strawberries-and-cream, to be online much of the time, and so that's why I don't consider my 100+ days online any significant accomplishment.  Something's an accomplishment only if one has to work at it.

Sorry, madam, but apparently there's no way to track that.

I have no idea who's the "most viewed" or most read, of all the members.

I know that among the lurking primitives, USA4ME, GOBUCKS, Freeper (recently), and franksolich are the "most viewed," but that's only among the lurking primitives.  I have no idea if many decent and civilized people read us too.

I totally understand, Frank.  Wretch only piled up all the hours (as he admitted) because his Blackberry or some such device kept him logged in forever.  I could probably do the same if I were so inclined.

I prefer to spend "quality" time at the sites that I like, such as the Cave. :-)

I tend to stay logged in on my days off or if I leave the house for short trips.  Like now....
