Weird story of the day
This morning, I was doing some picking up around the house before leaving for work.

I go into the living room and pick up the junk mail from the coffee table then I go to other parts of the house.

As I come back through the house I see a white cylindrical object out of the corner of my eye. It is laying on the living room floor by the coffee table. It was not there when I left the living room.

I go over and pick it up and see a wick and recognize it as one of three candles that I have sitting in candle holders on a sofa table clear across the room.

I am the only one home at that point except the dog. There is no way that I can think of that the candle could have gotten in the middle of the living room floor.

That was just plain weird.

The good news is that I am moving in about three weeks.

1. Remember... this is not real
It's a holographic Universe and sometimes things just pop in and out. When a detail like that gets moved, it's a clue to the unreality of this place.

If you make up a spooky story about it <G> you can explain it in way that will lock it in for you. Now if you want to play the Human Game that way, that's fine. If you choose to use the misplaced candle as a clue, then you may be on another kind of adventure. Have fun.

3. Things like this have happend to me before...
I can't even tell you about one place where I lived and the things that happend there. It does confirm though that there is so much more to this life and out of this life. Look at it this way: it may be something that needed to happen for you to realize that the world is really not what it appears to be! peace

I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

The reality based community. :lmao:
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Whew! Parents, hide your children!

Note to DUmmies:

Most people, upon waking up from a drunk/drug OD and finding things out of place, do not ascribe it to "living in a holographic world".

You may now resume your regularly scheduled stoopid....

The idiot probably lit their crackpipe with the candle.

I'll bet this is what happened (happens to me all the time) the DUmmie realized it was late for work and took off faster than the speed of light and ended up getting home before he left.  Then he remembered, it was a candle that made him late and he thew it across the room.  Then he had to sit around all day, waiting for him to catch up with himself.
