DUmmies Discuss Jug-Eared Kenyan Speaking To Schoolchildren

Original message
To those who will keep your kids home from school Tuesday. I think it's a form of child abuse
making your kids stay home because YOU hate the color of the president's skin. Teaching your
kids to be suspicious and hate other races or people who think differently. Setting your kids up
for ridicule by other kids for being kept home because of an educational message by the
president. Teaching hate. Teaching disrespect. Forcing your kids to excel in stupid, like you.

Being raised by bigots and stupid people should be considered child abuse.

2. It's unpatriotic and disrespectful.
And the children will learn it well.

At the DUmp, nothing is more important than patriotism and respect.
DUmmies are experts on it.

3. I am so ashamed of our country's people right now
Our country's leader is trying to give our children some good advice and people are holding their
kids' ears. This is truly the stupidest thing I have ever seen... I am truly amazed at how outer
limits our country has gone. What kind of example are we showing our kids....shame shame
shame...I hope my kids get to see it.

DUmmies bragged about their children drawing caricatures of President Bush, and quoted the
cute stories they spouted about Bush shredding the constitution and killing children. It's how
the butterball DUmmy Li'l Ava first came to the DUmp.

5. Sad to see so many of the next generation being ruined, being made
suspicious and distrustful of people of color--because if kids are taught to fear and despise the
black President, of all people, what chance do everyday black people have? And if someone comes
on here telling me that not everyone who opposes the President speaking to children is racist,
I'll put my foot through the monitor and up his/her stupid ass.

6. That is the very way that bigotry has always been taught
So in reality, that is the reality of the way life is. Children are taught to be bigots. Why should
it be any different now? With a little luck many of those students will rebel against their parents
and watch the forbidden videos just because.

In DUmp lingo, "bigot" means anyone who doesn't agree with socialist principles, so I hope all
children have a chance to learn bigotry.

7. They are all racists.

Keep using that word, over and over and over and over.
It'll be all used up before the next election.

I never cease to be amazed at what the right wing loonies can conjure up as negatives
against Obama.

The race card has been used so often and is worn so badly that now you can spot it instantly in the deck.......nothing like playing poker with a marked deck.

Thing is, the more it's played, . . . the less effect it has.  Pretty soon, it'll mean almost nothing, yet the lefties will still try to use it.

They are so dense that they think it makes up for their lack of having any form of issue discussion.

Conservatives shouldn`t fear the charge but mock it.
Imagine a SNL skit where a conservative in a debate gives a thoughtful, reasoned argument for something and the lib responds with "racist" every time it is their turn.

Obama has done a very good job on providing negatives all on his own. We don't have to conjure up things that he did like you did with Bush for 8 years. Other than a couple of valid complaints (deficit was one) most of the claims you made about Bush you pulled out of your asses.

They accuse us of racism yet they are the ones who keep bringing up his skin color. If the DUmmies truly believed in equality then they too would judge him on his actions and not care what his skin tone is.

I'm tired of the race card.  This has nothing to do with race and everything to do with a distrust of what President Obama is all about.  I don't have kids in school but I would sure keep them out of school that day.

Maybe his motives are honorable but all anyone has to do is look at what Al Gore has done to young schoolchildren with his global warming propaganda.  How many young children have been scared to death by Al Gore and his tales of doom?  How many young children came home from school after watching An Inconvenient Truth and proceeded to lecture their parents on their evil ways?

Al Gore told children not to listen to their parents!!!  Gee, I wonder why people don't trust the idea of another democrat in power speaking to their children.

ALL YOU NEED  TO KNOW:

They want us to lose wars and it's patriotism.

We oppose their taking our money for an intrusive government program and we're traitors.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

If they were intellectually honest they would admit if it were Bush speaking to the children,  had a list of questions like the teachers are suppose to ask the kids and were told to read similar books about Bush that are utter propaganda they would have a shit fit.

If all Obama was going to do was do a short message about the importance of stating in school, being nice to their peers, stay away from drugs (which he probably couldn't talk about and be credible with his own known drug use when he was younger). I wouldn't have an issue with it.

The racist accusations are really getting old & tiresome.  I don't give a damn what color he is, I don't like his ideas or policies.

Hey DUmmies, I voted for a black man (Alan Keyes) who ran against 0bama for the U.S. Senate seat in Illinois in 2004.  Am I still a racist?

This is a prerecorded speech to be broadcast at noon, which on the East Coast is during hectic lunch periods.    The White House refuses to release a transcript or copy of the recording until today (Labor Day), which means that superintendents/educators across the country will be given no time to determine its educational worthiness.    This is not a historical moment such as an inauguration.  This is not the same as what Reagan and GHWB did. GHWB allowed the press corp to broadcast his comments to a classroom of students, and Reagan held a townhall meeting of middle school students which was taped by c-span.

Obama wants total access.  Obama wants parents to be entirely eliminated from his access.  Obama refuses to provide a timely transcipt of his commentary.     All extremely bizarre.

The thing is though is that students don't vote.   Their parents do.   He just royally pissed off those parents [who until now probably didn't realize they were racists].

Yet another royal rookie mistake.

You know what FGL?  I have this really bad feeling that the schools who decided against showing this Obama valentine to himself "look what I did", is somehow going to find themselves on a bad boy list.

We all know how Obama likes his lists.

You know, the schools are government schools, and teachers and superintendents are government employees.

This whole issue is one more argument against the idea of government-run education systems. Education is one in a long line of things the government is unequipped and unqualified to hand.

It's not the same "Government," though that doesn't necessarily mean the education is any better,  The quality of the education depends on the wealth, tight-fistedness, and concern about educational quality of you and your fellow voters in your school district, not so much the Feds (Though they do put a lot of money, and strings attached to it, into the system).

You are correct, but thanks to things like "No Child," and the overreaching of the Dept. of Ed. on the fed level, there are plenty of opportunities for the federal government to assert its influence.

It's definitely true, though, that local school boards have amazing power--power that often goes unnoticed in elections.
