Any Mass residents? Say goodbye to your 4th Amendment
« on: September 02, 2009, 08:11:16 AM »
http://www.mass.gov/legis/bills/senate/186/st02pdf/st02028.pdf

Basically, in the event of an "outbreak" the government has the right to come into your house, and do with you whatever they want.  No warrant or anything silly like that.  It seems it also gives them the ability to "seize" anything that they deem may be useful in combatting said outbreak.

The provisions in that bill are extremely vague...  kinda scary honestly.

Of course it's vague.  That way, the liberals can argue whatever they want in a court of law.

Vague laws themselves are unConstutional. But, what the hell does that matter to the new Statists?

Wow. Just wow. And the Patriot Act was bad??????
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Forget change, bring back common sense.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Show of hands, who would meet an intrusion like this in their own hometown with lead?

No need for hyperbole, just honesty.

Read the actual document. Iowa Government is attempting to perform damage control since this document has been released.
