Memo just went out - called my local BOE - they haven't decided wither to air or not - TV's in classrooms will show prez. but 5 days before then the indoctrination begins w/ lots of crazy things - I AM PROTESTING and my children will watch from HOME so I can tell them the TRUTH about what this guy is doing...who does he think he is?!



OBAMA INDOCTRINATION DAY- SEPT. 8:
1. Keep you kids home September 8th, 2009.
2. Instead of all that Obama-related questions "What is the President asking me to do? My teachers? My parents?"
WTF is THAT?
Obama related reports, graphs, posters, ...puzzles etc etc. (5 days prior)
They should have the option of doing a report or project on:
1. The Constitution
2. The Founders
3. Sept. 11th!!!

We have ongoing discussions already on what this guy is doing in office so I don't really worry about 1 day of ridiculousness at the schools compared to my many days of counteracting it, although seeing as that's only the first week here and first day of kinder, I don't think it's on the agenda here at our schools. They will still be organizing crap and laying out the rules on the 8th.

During the elections last year and after, my oldest had no issues with expressing her disfavor of Obama even in the face of friends who tooted his horn.

Plain and simple. It is indoctrination. There is no reason for any president to address children this young .  I could have seen if President Bush would have done it post 9-11, and maybe he should have.  0Bama will be pushing his volunteer program is a safe guess.

^totally agree. this is to indoctrinate AND innoculate. They are gearing up for the volunteer corps would be my guess.

I'm wondering if  his speech will be carried on any networks, or if this is only going to be available on something like 'Cable in the classroom" channel.

The school district I live in is out anyway that day (Zone Day). OEA sort of got themselves into a Catch 22 on that deal.  :-)

I don't think our elementary schools are set up yet to be able to carry this in their classrooms.
