hillary finally just pointed out (clumsily) that his speech against the war was irrelevant, because HE was irrelevant when he gave it.

Did you hear at the end of KO the drinking game tonight
Hillary:  she cackles or says "shame on you" or something along those lines
Barack:  I agree or something similar

KO only partially understands the goal of drinking games, obviously. :)

I dunno, he looks like he's had a good hangover or two.

I say add the word change to the drinking game.  Both will say it.

Hillary's getting hammered tonight.

she needs to go for a knockout, or drop to her knees and do the monicoughca on The BarackStar!, and beg him to stop kicking her a$$ in all these primaries.

but she is oddly splitting the difference.

I don't see any support for her in Texas, at least where I live & work.  *shrug*

texas has been assimilated.

Not all the way, I still know some republicans.  LOL.

I will die of shock if The BarackStar! wins texas.

The BarackStar! insists that he was relevant when he gave the speech against the war because he was a senate candidate in "a high stakes senate race".

In the primary or general?  In the primary yes, general is questionable but I think it'll go republican in the general.

I think The BarackStar! just equated a strike on an al quada leader and his desire earlier in the campaign to bomb pakistan.

the primary is in the bag for him, but I don't see how texas goes democratic in the general.  if texas turns blue, something so incredible will have to have happened that it will be a 45 state blow out.

this hysterical anti-war stance that The BarackStar! won't moderate on is a seriously high risk strategy.  if iraq continues to improve, it is going to be a very difficult position to explain to the electorate after the conventions.

It depends on the turnout I think.  Dallas, Austin, Houston, SE Texas and on the border is blue already.  Lets see the fireworks between McCain & Obama.  :)

interesting hypothetical question from russert.  "once you pull out of of iraq, if it goes to hell, will you reenter the country to stabilize the situation?"

hillary tapdanced.

The BarackStar! just said he reserves the right as commander in chief to go after terrorists if they are in iraq planning attacks like the one on 9/11.  umm, did he just say that?  how is that significantly different from what GWB did?

bush took 61% of the popular vote in 2004.  yeah, I realize he was the former governor of the state, but still . . .

I think hillary is much deeper on the issues, and infinitely better versed on the details myself.

whoa.  a very strange moment.  PMSNBC screws up by showing the wrong video (they showed the one with hillary making fun of The BqarackStar!'s speaking style), forcing brian williams to ask a lame ass question like, "how did you take those comments?"

he said he gave her high marks for delivery and humor (or something along those lines).

then she cackled the witch cackle, and ruined the whole damn thing.

The BarckStar! is being crafty about his socialist policies;  he is phrasing them in the context of returning soldiers that are having a difficult time getting health care or finding a job.  mccain will have to find a solution to that rhetorical contortion.

She shouldn't be brining up her health care plan from the 90s.

The BarackStar! just zinged the hell out of her "as a general rule, if you don't want something to pass, you vote against it".

that will leave a mark in the morning.

well, if he concedes her "co-presidency", then he shouldn't have whined when the other "co-president" started beating on him.

the whole "co-presidency" thing gave me consitutional heartburn at the time, by the way, and I'm no more fond of it now.

russert calling The BarackStar! on potentially waffling on public financing in the general.  and NOW he is hiding behind hillary, as though he hasn't long since totally vanquished her.

now The BarckStar! is trying to say that "public financing" is any financing that comes from the public. :whatever:

But at the same point, Hillary can't say I was co-president, but I didn't agree with this or that blah blah blah.  If she was co-president why the **** didn't she know her husband was boinking the intern.

Russert to Hillary:  Why haven't you released your tax return.
Hillary "the people supporting me are financing my campaign"
Mia:  Then where did you get that $5 million loan?

ok, his answer to public financing sucked, but it was fully forthcoming and transparent compared to hers.  jeeez.  does she think that we have forgotten that she is a clinton, for heaven's sake?
