"Hassan Nemazee, chairman of Nemazee Capital Corp. and a fundraiser for President Obama and Hillary Clinton, was arrested on charges that he tricked Citigroup Inc. into lending him as much as $74 million using phony documents.

Nemazee got the loan by telling Citibank that he held accounts with hundreds of millions of dollars that could serve as collateral, U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said today in a statement. He used fake addresses and phone numbers controlled by him to mislead the bank, prosecutors said.
*snip*
Nemazee is one of the leading fundraisers for the Democratic Party. He served as national finance chairman for the Senate committee that works to elect Democrats when it was run by New York Senator Charles Schumer.

Obama, Clinton, Kerry

In the 2008 presidential campaign, Nemazee raised at least $100,000 for Hillary Clinton, and then went on to bring in at least $500,000 for Barack Obama after he defeated her in the primary campaign, according to the Washington watchdog group Public Citizen. Clinton is now secretary of state. " Bloomberg

I'm sure glad that the DimRats have cleaned up the culture of corruption.

The corruption by people close to Obama is amazing.  The state run media ignores.

These people are in government to enrich and empower themselves and the ends justify the means...

January of 2013 should be an interesting month.  We are going to see some interesting pardons coming from the White House.

Funny thing is, listening to F&F on the drive into work, the 'Rat talking heads are STILL trying to bring up Abramoff (sp?).  Had I been her opposite, I would have mentioned Hsu and the Gaza fundraising, and had this been known, this joker as well.

You're making the assumption that the criminals will be prosecuted under the Obama administration to begin with. With Holder marching lockstep with Lord Zero, there isn't much of a chance that the political cronies that come up dirty will wind up being prosecuted.

That's true, and with this guy being a political donor to DimRats, and the fact that he defrauded Citigroup, the left probably thinks he did a good thing.

Wasn't the whacko meme that Bush's administration was the dirtiest ever?  Yet there isn't a word about the overwhelming percentage of crooks and cheats in Obama's group.  It makes me sick... :puke:

I am wondering what kind of Pre-Nup is used by the big time crooks.

Small time every day bank robbers are smart enough to put everything in another name.

Hubby comes home on day to tell me he has filed for divorce. He wants me to take the kids and move to some northern state and never try to contact him he will call me.

He goes to MY relatives and gets 4 TH cousin twice removed to open an account with one of our youngest kids a savings account that needs both signatures to with draw on.

He heads for the casinos and drops half a million and the perks start rolling in--anything he wants.

He gets together with auto sales men, buys 7 cars worth $40,000 each, with cash and resells them to the dealer for $28,000 each----dealer makes a profit of $12,000 on each car.

What the heck is going on here, well, the bank made an error and credited his account for $15, 000,000. dollars.

Got to walk very carefull now, cannot draw attention to lots of with drawls.

It may be it will take 6 weeks to catch that mistake at the bank, if you played the game correctly at least a quarter of the money is gone and no one can find it.

So this is just us little guys that make under $100,000 a year,

That dude that got away with over$75,000,000 was by no accident, they had to work hard to get that money and pull a huge Con on the banks.

There are few ways the law can find HIS money, 3 years in jail is worth the pay back.
