I do "The Jesus Dance" nearly every time I capsize or fall out of a boat up the river. No long pig for the craw-caw-doiles.  :-)

Lesson no. 1 , never stand up in a boat under 4 feet wide.  Keep feet and arms braced against the sides, if one must move in a canoe, lots of luck.

I have seen masters stand in a Kayak but their balance is amazing.
