WI_DEM (1000+ posts) Sun Aug-16-09 04:18 PMOriginal messageIf Obama caves to blue dogs on public option liberals should tell him they will vote against bill It seems like the administration is doing it's best to accomodate blue dogs and republicans in the health care fight. Well what about liberals and progressives who want and believe in a public option? Can they pass a bill without them? Maybe public option supporters should put pressure on the WH and say no public option then no health care reform bill and Obama will lose. You know a public option could be passed by reconciliation process. The WH is all about "bipartisanship" that it has forgotten that what is best is to produce a strong bill not a weak one.

Obama is turning into an even better Republican than Bill Clinton There is no advantage to actual citizens to "reform" that isn't single payer. It's seems the administration just wants to save the present system by tweaking it.

No public option is about to sound like the greatest idea a human being ever had, by the support it will now get here. He knows he can take us for granted.
