I know you cant, but lets say he did..

How many of the 2008 Democratic Nominees would defeat him..
Obama
Clinton
Edwards
Biden
Richardson
Kucinich
Gore
Gravel
Dodd
Vilsack

Hell, Throw in: Kerry, Gore, Dean, & Wesley Clark too ....
I ask because a friend thinks that Bush would still win a big portion of Red States and i say, not a chance in hell.

6. Well.. yes and no... I think that if we remind JoeShmoe that McCain is
Bush the third, then we're more likely to get a Dem in the WH.

3. yeah, W is the opposite of Bill Clinton...
Bill would have won a third term handilly.

In fact, that's one reason a lot of us would like to see Hillary win.

If Bill had been there, no 911, no Iraq war. We would already have National Health Care. Huge prosperity. Etc. Etc.

Holy shit.................... :mental:

4. Hmm, wonder what a Gore Rematch would look like and how much Diebold would affect the outcome..
Gore would crush him, Obama would cream him. Hillary would probably nose him out because she would motivate the Repuke base. Everyone else would probably defeat him on that list.

Pelosi and Reid would write a very strongly worded letter.

President Bush's rating in 2004 was as low or lower than it is now and he beat the "best" the Dims had to offer.

These people really don't deal well with reality, do they?l

After a moment's thought -- we need to plant the rumor GWB will be running as Vice President with McCain just to watch the DUmmy's heads explode.

That would be about like sticking a pin in an already flat balloon.  They've 'sploded so many times lately there just ain't much left.

Oh what lily loving bullshit. Let's just address the 'huge prosperity' bit shall we? First of all, Clinton's buddy Greenspan allowed for the the changes in the loan guaranteeing agencies that helped fuel the subprime crap that has now exploded, secondly, as I recall the market starting taking a dive in 1999 when Clinton was still 'handily' in office.

I'd also like to know what Clinton would have done in the 9 months until 9/11 that would have thwarted that attack? An attack that found it's plan laid mostly during his tenure as president? I'll give a little example, If the person who owned my house before me allowed for activities that eventually led to the flooding of my home when I finally owned it, while I may be responsible to fix it, was it my fault that his lack of care or diligence caused it or am I just picking up the pieces of a mess that happened due to his irreponsible, reckless, or apathetic tenure as the homeowner? While I am not happy with Bush on a variety of issues, it can not be denied that much of the planning of 9/11 happened BEFORE he came into office, not during the short 9 months he held the position of POTUS. Even saying that, I don't think Clinton is responsible either. Extremist Muslims hatred doesn't take seed in any one president or any one thing that our country stands for. It is intolerance and bigotry, the kind liberals claim to despise, but seem all to happy to try and justify when its perpetrator is 'brown'.

bubba's pull-out of Somalia is the REASON 9/11 happened.  Even ubl said so, as did every major terrorist we rounded up.  Not only would 9/11 have happened, but mr cigar CAUSED it.

I seriously doubt that. By 2000 people were pretty much fed up with, as Dennis Miller so colorfully put it, "the wocka-wocka porno guitar of the
Clinton administration", and it was reflected in Algore's loss.
