Dear DUers: I’m applying for a “death panel” job and need help with my resume

According to Sarah Palin, and confirmed by none other than Newt Gingrich, Obama is going to set up a “death panel” to decide who lives and who dies. Now this sounds like a great gig with long-term job security. And since Obama is setting it up, it probably includes government perks and total health care coverage.

Actually, I have no experience in this area but, outside of medical insurance companies, who does? And you just know that none of their employees will be applying. It’s a government job and doesn’t pay as much as the private sector.

Anyhow, I’ve been working on the resume all day and I’m having trouble matching it to what I would imagine to be the job specs. I’d appreciate any help anyone can give me on this.

Sincerely, -- a would-be grim reaper.

3. You'll have to go through an initiation of sorts

Take a lunatic governor who quit her job and who is a bonafide hypocrite, lock her in the alzheimers ward of a nursing home for at least 12 months, make sure her family is given the corresponding bill for such services. Then release her and have her immediately hold a press conference to tell us all about quality of life.

I don't know if its still published but the top ten conservative idiots would have to be changed to the top thousand conservative idiots.

13. Apparently not...

The loutish Brit primitive comments, but as he has no say in the matter, his comment isn't worth bringing over here.

18. Just think of the possibilities for graft.

Need an inheritance and want grandma out of the way?

Maybe you want to get back at your worthless spawn by making sure every last dime of your money is spent in a fruitless attempt to keep you alive.

Feel like hiking the old Appalachian trail but your wife is clinging to life?

Just grease the right palms on the death panel and your dreams can become reality.

Actually, that might not be too unrealistic.

The loutish Brit primitive comments again, but never mind.

If I get on a "death panel", I got my questions in order.

1-Who did you vote for in 2008?
2-Who do you think won the elections in 2000 and 2004?
3-How do you want to die, quickly or slowly.......and how soon?
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
