Oh my.

I'm in a hissy Pedro Picasso sort of mood; all was okay with the world this morning, but then the first bonfire from Skins's island that I happened to read, were some really stupid comments by the nauseous primitive, and the mood did a one-eighty.

There's not much going on over at Skins's island this morning; the dysmenopausal Kansas school teacher wants 1,000,000 gays to invade Kansas, the legendary herb primitive has returned and is reminescing, and the.Bostonian.Drunkard.posted.some.garbage.

I did however find this, where the lilliputian tom thumb primitive gives advice to John McCain:

Where Do You Start If You're Elected?

The problems are demanding of immediate attention. This nation has not reacted well to 7 years of neglectful rule; governance for the enrichment of the Governors; systematic fleecing of the governed.

The Justice Department has to be set right first. Within the hour of the swearing in the next President must announce his appointment of Attorney General and by his direct authority commence an immediate scourge of the Department of Justice, removing every person hired during the entire Bush Administration if that is what is required. Justice must be returned to America, at once.

The economy must be rescued. Every corporate and personal tax cut that has passed in the last 8 years needs to be immediately rescinded. This nation must be able to finance itself. People need jobs. May I suggest a massive public works program to repair and improve our public transportation system, to include the Interstate highway system, bridges, tunnels, and most importantly, begin a national rail system linking major cities through a system of regional hubs. Improve our ports.

Begin the research that will make us a world leader in innovative products and revitalize our industrial base. Someone will build the windmills, someone will build the more efficient means of transportation.

Stop funding boondoggles, the hydrogen economy, clean coal, no child left behind, clean skys, and any studies that consider biomass burning as a reasonable solution to any problem what so ever.

Do away with capital punishment - there is no greater national disgrace.

And most important, get religion out of Government!

For some reason, I don't think John McCain's going to take the lilliputian tom thumb primitive's advice.

1. I say the economy is #1. The Bush Administration and Clinton's NAFTA have destroyed this economy.

Without fixing the economy, everything else is hopeless.

2. Prosecute ALL b*shies, and repeal ALL the Executive orders.

6. Works for me.

You know, just after he or she has been sworn in, right in the middle of the speech, sort of turn aside and say "Oh, incidentally, George, Dick - you are under arrest. Now, as I was saying. . . . "

Ah.

4. Funny, I was asking myself that same question this morning.

Where the hell do you begin to try to put the country right again? Is any human being capable of cleaning up this mess?

5. Truth Commission? Unless all the public has the facts...and some accountability occurs, whoever (assuming Obama or Clinton) faces the massive cleanup behind the Bushies* will get sacked with the blame for these problems and the inevitable pain that will result of any responsible efforts to fix the problems...

Of course they need to be acting on the economy, getting us out of Iraq, global warming and environmental health policy reversals, etc., at the SAME time.

7. Day One: Get the ball rolling to get out of Iraq.

I know that the money we're borrowing to fund it won't magically appear in our back yard, but at least we won't be incurring more debt to keep this going.

The economy - I'm not sure what steps can be taken to IMMEDIATELY help people out (I mean REALLY help people as opposed to our cash hit from Bushco).

I believe with the wheels turning and our troops beginning to return, and alleviating some of the fear of "where is my next meal coming from"? we as a country could begin to concentrate and move toward those areas you cite. It's difficult to move ahead positively when we're mired in fear and lack.

8. campaign reform--eliminate privatized elections

shorten campaigns, 100% public financing, regulate lobbyists into oblivion

until we do that, nothing will change because actual change will require cutting oneself off the corporate money tit, which guarantees you'll be a one-termer.

9. Read the RIOT ACT to the Bush Supreme Court appointees

Let them know in no uncertain terms that they CAN be replaced. And advise them to immediately start doing the job as it's been done for the last several hundred years.

And also let them know that if they are unhappy with the salaries -- they can LEAVE. NO added incentives for the whiny bastards!

Aw geez.

The lilliputian tom thumb primitive is such a fuddy-duddy, such a widdly-ass.

11. How do you think they could be replaced?

Short of an impeachable offense, and even with my feelings toward the Bush/Gore decision I don't think they've committed one, how do you propose they be removed?

10. First of all, elected to what?

The problems are demanding of immediate attention. This nation has not reacted well to 7 years of neglectful rule.

Indeed, friend, that has had a degrading effect on all levels of government. It's going to take a few ducats to fix it all. That means that federal, state and local government are going to have to find the revenue to do it all. What are we going to do about the public debt? How is that to be paid down? If FDR were facing the kind of red ink that the next president will face, the New Deal might not have turned out to have been so ambitious, or to have worked so well.

The Justice Department has to be set right first.

If I may offer a small dissent, the war in Iraq must be ended first. To be able to afford the building of windmills, solar panels, and mass transit, not to mention repair of roads and bridges and even to fund a well-planned war on (real) terrorists, we will first have to extricate ourselves from Mr. Bush's folly, which we can't afford.

Stop funding boondoggles.

That's a lot easier send than done. Most voters think it's pork only when it's spent in the next district, never when it's putting people to work in their community.

Do away with capital punishment - there is no greater national disgrace.

And most important, get religion out of Government!

Those are nice to haves. Religion isn't as entrenched in government as some people think, so that should be relative easy. As for capital punishment, I feel about it the same way you do, but I'd rather spend my energy persuading my neighbors that these other urgent problems need to be addressed. Also, given the choice between abolishing capital punishment and getting Don Siegelman and other wrongly convicted political prisoners out of prison and making sure the Geneva Conventions are observed in Bush's gulags, I'll take the latter.

Well, unfortunately for the primitives, I don't think John McCain's going to take any of their advice.

What worries me is that they think this country is broken. I submit that any DUmmies holding such an opinion be forced to spend at least a year in a country that really is broken. Then get back to us.

And oddly, the lilliputian one stumbles into some truth. There should have been a purge in D.C. - but it should have happened on Jan, 20 2001.

Economy - it's fine. It's also self-correcting. Govt intervention isn't needed or wanted. If they could manipulate the economy to ensure it never went south, they would have already done it and been successful at it.

Make us a world leader in innovation - does this tool not read the paper or watch TV? America is at the forefront of innovation already!!!

Stop boondoggles - well, yes, certaintly the ones like entitlement programs. And doesn't this statement kind of contradict the previous one that says America needs to be at the forefront of innovation? I guess he means only the innovation that's been DUmmie certified.

Get religion out of govt - I guess I was asleep the day they took away religious freedom and installed a National Religion.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Spread my work ethic, not my wealth.

Forget change, bring back common sense.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Get religion out of govt - I guess I was asleep the day they took away religious freedom and installed a National Religion.

It happened under jimmy carter when he asked other word leaders if they have accepted Jesus Christ.
