Det kunne være endt helt galt, men endte heldigvis bare som en ufrivillig tre-timers pause for en baby-elefant, der søndag blev brugt som arbejdskraft til noget vejarbejde i Rayong-provinsen i Thailand.

Pludselig bukkede et større kloakdæksel under for elefantens vægt, og det stakkels dyr røg ned i hullet med bagdelen først.

Det tog redningsfolk tre timer at få elefanten ud af den ubehagelige position. Det skete ved at de bulldozede kloakhullet større, og derefter trak elefanten op.

They had the story on Fox and Friends this morning. They  didn't say how the elephant got there, but they showed a back hoe being used to widen the hole to let the poor climb out. It looked terrified in that picture.
