2. This is the only one I've liked in years.

He was actually working to help me find alternative treatments. He was proactive. He was intelligent. He seemed to care. There's no replacing him.

Whether it's right or not, I'm angry with him for leaving me hanging after a few short months. I dared to hope, then he just left for greener (think $$$) pastures.

I've seen other psychiatrists for twenty years and this is the only one I thought could have made a real difference for me. As for psychologists, I've only had one I thought really cared, but he was unreliable in many ways.

My psychologist was laid off; now my psychiatrist is leaving. My choice of a counselor is a raw intern (no real choice, at all). I have no choice as far as a psychiatrist is concerned. I'll see whomever the county says I have to see...or no one at all.

I think she may be right, in a way. It sounds like she made an unhealthy attachment to this shrink. LOL. So maybe he really is running away from her.

I wonder what percentage of DUmmies see psychiatrists or are on some form of psychiatric medication. It has to be 90+.

This is a person that declares herself hopelessly depressed and demands that public funds be used to treat her so long as it doesn`t offend her political or religious (atheist) sensibilities.
That darned take responsibility for some aspect of life and believe you can be better thing.
At that point she rejects it out of hand and goes on a crying spree about how no one can or will help her and how unfair life is and desperate she is.

For some strange reason though no matter how hopeless and disturbed she claims to be she can still manage to sit at a computer and whine about it to a bunch of faceless fellow worthless cretins.

It is all an overly dramatic ruse I think one would normally expect to see from a child or teen but since that is the maturity level of a primitive not at all surprising.

If one spends too much time loafing on a mattress, instead of being out and about on a job, one starts sooner or later to resemble a mattress.
