I wish the judge was as passionate about the rape of the Constitution that is going on now, as he is about the Patriot Act, and the Gitmo detainees........in my opinion, if some raghead got himself caught on the battlefield, and wound up in Gitmo, they can hang him by his thumbs with my blessing, if it gains us one piece of information.......

He is a lawyer, and therefore, not the best choice as a speaker for a "tea party", which, unless the theme has shifted, are about the current administration, and its actions.......

I've heard him several times talking about that.  He even thought that getting involved with GM and Chrysler bankruptcies were illegal. I'd rather see him on the USSC than Sotominority.

The problem that I have with him (admittedly I have not listened to him lately) is that he is from New Jersey..........there is no such thing as a "Conservative" in New Jersey.......the republicans there are all "moderates" to one extent or another.  In the present fight, the moderates are the enemy, not our allies......

I used to listen to his radio show, until the ratings crashed, and it got pulled, and he, on several occasions showed his stripes.......for example, he FAVORED the "amnesty" bill when it was pending during the Bush years, and has repeatedly taken a middle of the road position on a number of issues......I simply don't trust his political opinions enough to put much credence in what he has to say......
