I should have been paying attention. It's darker outside now than it was at 6a.m.

I love days like that!  Sunny and warm, bordering on hot here today.

Don't want to sound like a DUmmy, but I have this feeling of anxiety, general feeling of anxiousness today.  It's driving me nuts.  I need something to do to distract my brain, and I have nothing on the agenda today.   :banghead:   Ya'll need to start posting/talking so I have something to do!

The high winds, (gusting to 60mph), have passed. Now all that is left is some showers and rumbling thunder.

High 80's today and tomorrow, muggy as hell.  Rain tomorrow.  12-hour workdays on both days.  That is all.

Ahhhh, a day off from work.

It's hot and sunny here.  We finally broke 90° this year... it's 94° outside right now, and I get to go outside and work on my car. :p

Your reference to a brain rules out any chance of sounding like a DUmmy.
In cases like this, a DUmmy would turn to his stash.
Or, in the case of TomInTib, an imaginary bottle of Bombay Sapphire. He is missed.

It's sunny here and hot in the attic....why am I worried about the attic temperture? I lost my doorbells to a thunderstorm last week and the doorbell transformer is in the attic....somewhere.....under 2 foot of blown insulation.

Think I'll just hang a hammer on a string at the doors....and call'em "Door Knockers"

Temps are rising here too and supposed to be around 90....thunder boomers again tomorrow...

Johnny...go buy a doorknocker at Wally World and screw it into the door....it's cheaper and much less hassle.  :-)
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Show some balls with a door knocker.

That is so not redneck enough.....you want me to look like a New England liberal or something?

The rains just arrived here.  Hope my power stays on tonight... that rain looked pretty rough when it was over Hopkinsville.  We're getting a heat wave with this system.  It's been nice and cool so far, but the rest of the week and weekend will be in the 90's.  Ouch.  At least I fixed my broke-ass fan. :-)

I got to take the roof off my car while I did my errands today.  It was nice.  Now its back to sorting mail and paying bills.
