A 2005 Columbia University hate-fest centered on Professor Khalidi. Campus Watch provided a little backstory:

In bringing professor Khalidi to Morningside Heights from the University of Chicago, Columbia also got itself a twofer of Palestinian activism and advocacy. Mr. Khalidi's wife, Mona, who also served in Beirut as chief editor of the English section of the WAFA press agency, was hired as dean of foreign students at Columbia's SIPA, working under Dean Anderson. In Chicago, the Khalidis founded the Arab American Action Network, and Mona Khalidi served as its president. A big farewell dinner was held in their honor by AAAN with a commemorative book filled with testimonials from their friends and political allies. These included the left wing anti-war group Not In My Name, the Electronic Intifada, and the ex-Weatherman domestic terrorists Bernadine Dohrn and Bill Ayers. (There were also testimonials from then-state Senator Barack Obama and the mayor of Chicago.)

Individually, these events aren’t much. Appearing on a panel with creepy people doesn’t mean you’re a creep. But taken together, these add up to a pattern of what is at best frightening tone-deafness toward terrorism, and a blithe ignorance of the evil and chaos these radicals represent. Kirchik said it’s not so bad if Obama just used Dohrn and Ayres to ascend the Chicago political ladder, but apparently Obie’s still running around with them long after he’s reached the top rung. Is the Obamessiah so profoundly unclued that he just doesn’t realize how bad it is to be buds with unrepentant anarcho-commie terrorists?

And, sadly, that’s the interpretation most favorable to the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. The other possibility is that he knew exactly who they are, what they stand for, and how it looks for him to be so comfortable with them–and he chose to continue hanging around with them anyway, long after their terror chic wore thin.

They can claim all they want that Juan is the Manchurian candidate, I think Obama has been groomed to be an agent of "change" - meaning a Marxist revolution - since he went to Indonesia when he was a baby.

They can claim all they want that Juan is the Manchurian candidate, I think Obama has been groomed to be an agent of "change" - meaning a Marxist revolution - since he went to Indonesia when he was a baby.

It would be impossible to impose a marxist revolution as neither the people nor the military would tolerate such nonsense. Marxists may be dumb enough to be marxists but they are smart enough to know the US constitution cannot be dissolved by dictat (would that the Ronulans would understand this simple fact before spouting their inane paranoid ramblings).

The thing he will do is get people addicted to government handouts.
