On purely scientific standards of political ideology, "teabaggers" are utterly middle-of-the road.
Various "militia" and Minutemen are slightly to the right, but nowhere so far right as to be considered "extreme."
I dunno about fans of Rush Limbaugh; after all, it's very difficult to discern his political ideology. I of course can't hear Rush Limbaugh, but I've read his books, and he strikes me as a person more interested in telling the blunt truth, rather than adhering to a particular political ideology.
