Man, I think I just exhaled after holding my breathe for so long. It's so good to see you posting again Undies. Rest up and don't watch too much Okra. :-)

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Undies, stay away from Young and the Restless. Old Mrs. Chancelor has a way of sucking anyone in.  :-)

AMC was a spinoff from ATWT.  It was meant to be all about "Penny Hughes".

I can't stand soap operas, oprahs, or any of that crud.  If it does not make me laugh and feel good, I'm not watching.

While I was away near Buffalo this week, one of the accountants in my unit had some chest pains Wednesday afternoon.  Our unit lost a computer programmer to a massive heart attack about a year-and-a-half ago, so he was a bit more attuned to the pains.  When he got to a hospital a couple of hours later, his cardiologist found one cornonary (sp?) artery 95% blocked and another 90% blocked (and a third at 60% blocked).  Four stents went in--two to an artery with the major blockages.  He was released Thursday, and was back at work Friday morning.  I was shocked.  Didn't look the worse for wear.  'Course, he's a tad miffed that he can't golf this morning, but he said that he'll get over it.

We need to demand that Demonic Underwear give us at least two reports a day, on how he's doing.  Damn, you're missed, sir, and Godspeed on the recovery.

Should we draft a stern letter to that effect?   Or maybe start an online petition?  :-)

But I agree Undies, I know you are laying low, but if you could drop a line every day, or couple of days, in just so we know all is ok, it would let some of us rest easier!

I hope to one day soon have the energy to write down this sordid/fascinating medical tale.  Right now I am just busy being a good boy.  I'm eating what I'm suppose to be eating and respecting every physical limit placed upon me.

I'm doing OK for a dead guy.

My brother and his wife came to our home last Sunday afternoon.  We almost never see each other.  I know my S-I-L had it figured in her head that I would be parked on a hospital bed in the corner of the family room.  She was very surprised when it was I who answered the doorbell.

Glad you're up and around.

I sent off a couple of get-well cards to my aunt and grandmother.  Card-shopping is depressing.
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

Thanks.  All prayers are appreciated.  I know I would not be sitting here now if it were not for the power of prayer.

AMEN.

I'm so glad you are doing ok.

Does anyone where here have your contact info so we don't have to worry so much if this ever happens again?

I am such an asshole. I never noticed this till tonight. I apologize for not getting on here and sending prayers to you and the family and hoping you make it through. Its of course obvious tha tyour well now but it still doesn't make up for missing out. My father had the same thing happen to him over 30 years ago and I know that it takes forever to get back up to speed. I am truly sorry for not getting to this sooner.

Thank you.  You are right.  I feel good.  I sometimes forget I would be dead without the drugs.  It does take a long time to piece life back together.  Right now, it is as if every aspect of life is dominated by what happened.  I hate that.  I want normality.

All in good time.  Praise the Lord.  And praise the Power of Prayer.   :p
