Just took the wife and kids to Phantom of the Opera in Houston this afternoon.  It was awesome.  That is all.

Saw it years ago with Robert Guillaume as the lead character. Loved it then.

I agree 100%...saw it in Denver a number of years ago.   My daughter says Le Mis is great, too.

I'm not too hip to musicals but I like the music in Phantom and it is one of my daughter's favorite movies of all time.  The scene changes were absolutely amazing and what they were able to do with the chandelier was really cool.

It was a surprise for my kids.  When my daughter finally figured out we were going to see Phantom instead of just a nice restaurant (as she was told) she said "Are we really going to see Phantom?"  When I told her we were she said "I think I'm going to cry."

LOL  It was great.

I didn't get anything but the daughter got a T shirt.

It was a very nice performance.

Read the book in high school, all 700+ pages.......and it wasn't even required.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
