Never had to. Thankfully I was lazy as a liberal when it came to voting. :cheersmate:

Ideologically, I was very liberal up until about age 23. Liberal, but apolitical if that makes sense.

Not only NO, but never ever, Hell naw, not in a million years, you couldn't get me that drunk, NO!!

We don't have party affiliations in Tennessee, but I have never voted for a Democrat.  Ever.

I am so ashamed.  I voted for Bill Clinton.

I know I know, go to the corner now.

My husband has never forgiven me for it either.  I have not voted for a Democrat since.

I was lazy politically my friend. I didn't have a mama's basement to live in so lazy with work: not so much if I wanted to eat and not live in a cardboard box.  :-)

I did, for purely tactical reasons in a gubernatorial primary a couple of years back.

When I registered to vote in 1966, your only choice was Democrat.....you'd have to have lived in a small southern county at that time to understand that.

BUT I have NEVER VOTED for a democrat if I had a choice.

The democrat primary in June was our local election. A choice between dim candidates is all we had.  Thanks mostly to the efforts of my X-wife that changed in 1979. God bless her, she wasn't all bad.... :-)

BTW, I guess I'm still registered as a democrat because I've never changed it.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

Yes, I voted for Dukakis in 1988 and was a registered Democrat when I was young and stupid.

I changed my party affiliation to Republican in 1992, and I've voted for a Republican in every Presidential election since.
