There's a good article in the latest National Review about Texas and Rick Perry.  I like what I see.  A lot.

Perry is running for office. He is running to the right. He does not necessarily govern that way. But since KBH is running RINO, whats the choice?

Think of the choices here, though, all the Democrat presidents of the past sixty years.

We have Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, Clinton, and Pa Kettle.

If one was to select the best of that lot, which would one choose?

I'm probably in a minority, but to me, Johnson was a giant among all these midgets.

Johnson was from Texas so he automatically wins.

Yeah, right.
So are Ricky Williams, Vince Young, and Ann Richards.

In my opinion Lyndon Johnson was the worst President in my lifetime, and that goes back to Franklin Roosevelt.
But then along came Jimmy Carter to tie him - both flat ass idiots.  Then Clinton stepped in with his inflated ego and lies.  Unfortunately thinks got better for them, because now we have the messiah, and in only less than 6 months he has proven to be the grand winner, of the replace him with a trash can for improvement, Award.
If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

I guess I "feel" for Lyndon Johnson because he was embodiment of that old and accurate saying, no good deed goes unpunished.

Here, the guy passed out largesse to the minorities, the young, the poor; lots and lots and lots of goodies.

And then they, who benefited the most from it, turned their backs on him.

They should've been kissing his ass instead.

Milo Yiannopoulos "It has been obvious since 2016 that Trump carries an anointing of some kind. My American friends, are you so blind to reason, and deaf to Heaven? Can he do all this, and cannot get a crown? This man is your King. Coronate him, and watch every devil shriek, and every demon howl."

They kissed the DNC ass, which was the point anyway. By the way, DNC ass is redundant, isn't it?
