I dunno! I've seen much worse over there than that. I have to admit i've often wondered what our country would be had we lost the Revolutionary War. Did she edit something out of her post that I missed?

Have you ever been to a web-site where there's as much "editing" as there is on Skins's island?

I swear, it seems like two-thirds of the posts are edited.

It's like the primitives are always writing something, posting it, and then changing their minds.

If I were my fellow alum Skins, I'd use the editing feature as a cash cow, charging x amount for each time a primitive uses it.  Or because possibly a few of the "edits" are simply to correct spelling errors, such as happens here, give each primitive 10 free edits a month, and then a dollar for each one thereafter.

Actually, without the US, there is a decent chance that Germany would have won WWI, there might be a large, German Empire, Austro-Hungarian Empire, and Ottoman Empire.  If Germany had won WWI, it would still have been a monarchy, so Hitler would not have been elected, unless something else encouraged Wilheim II to abdicate the throne.  

However, if we were still part of Britain, they would have still had our manpower, though considerably less without the Louisiana purchase and subsequent spread westward, and we would have joined WWI quite a bit earlier, as Canada did, so maybe the war would have been over faster as well.  That is what makes What-If history so interesting, if you change one little bit of history, it has an effect on everything that follows.
