I am inspired by the horrible list that Mensa put out and am thinking it would be fun to have a CC list of the best TV shows of all time. But I think we are a diverse enough group that probably there would be no consensus in our views so just list your five all time favorites.  I'll start:

"The Ed Sullivan Show" is probably the most important entertainment program that's been on TV so far, and it's been gone 38 years.
