Descrimination-free communications
« on: July 21, 2009, 04:46:39 PM »
My online Business Communications class informs us that 'inclusive language' is important. Some of its funny... but...

Race   White   Caucasian
   Negro   African-American or Black
   Mexican   Spanish-surnamed or Latino
             Oriental   Asian
   Eskimo   Inuit

Have you ever referred to someone as "spanish-surnamed"??

I will write what they want me to write because I want to pass the course. Otherwise I will let them know in the discussion forum we have online for students.
