I'm of two minds when it comes to this health care bill and the Cap and Tax. On the one hand, I want them to fail and never be voted on, let alone passed, but on the other , if they are passed, they will be such costly boondoggles, that they should cause the Dems to lose power for years to come. At the same time, I realize that once crap like this becomes law, it's near impossible to ever get it reversed.
The worst thing about this (and this has been their intention from the beginning) is that once it does pass, it will give the government so much power and control that it will be far more difficult, if not impossible, to vote out all of these liberals in future elections. This will also allow them to further cement their power with cap 'n tax, card check, amnesty, more pork, more spending, more taxes, stifling dissenting views and anyone they see as a threat (Fairness Doctrine and the like), and more micromanagement of everyone's lives by means of saving health care costs.
Any benefits that we might see from this atrocity being passed will be far outweighed by the negatives. It just isn't worth it.
These people are the Skynet (T3 version) of politics. For decades, they have slowly subverted the economy, health care, education, etc. to the point where we are now, and they claim to be the ones to fix it if only we would allow them total control. Instead, they will use that power to turn this country into a socialist/fascist wasteland.
