Sunday thread for those too lazy to start one...
« on: July 19, 2009, 09:01:57 AM »
Low of 55 this morning (not even close to record).  Predicted high of 83, which means I better get out and mow the lawn.

Or if any of ya'll have a kid you'll loan me, I'll let them run my lawnmower instead.  After that, ballgame on at 1.  Taquitos at 5, or whenever I feel like cooking them.

Church, then cleaning our room. The rest of the house is clean but our room looks like a teenager lives there with the clothes everywhere. I  need to look into some bins from Wal-mart or something. I would lend you my kid Sparky but at two she might be a little short to reach the handles of the mower.

Quiet day here at home right now.

Mancub and I are chowed down and one of his friends came over to play.

Of course my dining room table is still completely covered by the WWII naval game we didn't get to finish last night but beggers and choosers, ya'know?  We'll wrap it up later.

Woke up at 5am and couldn't go back to sleep. Normally, that wouldn't be a big deal, but I have to be at work at 7pm and don't get off until 7am. Yay! I get to be awake for at least 27 hours.

Good luck!  When I was working a swing shift, I always loathed those half-lucid times when you really contemplate if it's worth trying to head to sleep for just a few hours.  Knowing you'll be facing a long shift, shortly after.

Just got back from church.  Hot day here today. High of 95 expected today.  No plans, just trying to avoid the heat  :-)

I love Sunday evenings, and having a nice cool weekend at work.  Supposed to get down to 56 tonight with a high of 80 on Monday.  Where's that GloBull Warming?

I'm back on first shift starting tomorrow morning, and them I'm off for two more days.  I had to forgo my usual Sunday nap so I can get some sleep tonight.  The temperature here hasn't gone above 80° since Thursday.  This hasn't been a bad weekend.

This meteor movie is really lame.  The dialog is awful.  At least the acting is somewhat believable.

At least I have beer. :p
