July 13 (Bloomberg) -- Steven Rattner, the Wall Street executive who helped the government guide General Motors Co. and Chrysler Group LLC out of bankruptcy, is stepping down, the Treasury Department said.

Ron Bloom, a former United Steelworkers union adviser and Lazard Ltd. vice president, will take over the leadership role in advising the Obama administration’s auto task force, the statement said. ...

Guided GM out of bankruptcy my ass. They were f'ed up before, and they still aren't selling any cars. Someone want to explain to me how a company came out of bankruptcy in as little as 2 months?

Lets not forget that NONE of those CAR CZARS own a Ford, GM, or Chrysler product, just like many of those in the congress.

Another crooked politician whose company that he founded is being investigated for pay to play schemes by the NY Attorney General and the SEC. Just as well because he did not know his ass from the hole in the ground about the auto industry.
