Looking for some Gay Checks
Posted by WillBowden on Fri Feb-22-08 10:03 PM

I'm trying to find some checks that are Gay friendly. The only ones I've found so far are for Minneapolis. (http://www.messageproducts.com/shop/product.aspx?ProductID=8MBTPCHK (Base)&CategoryName=CKSOC-MP(Base)&SubcategoryName=Gay-CKSOC-MP(Base)&CategoryCode=)

I'm trying to find something more local (Milwaukee) or national. I want businesses to know who shops in their stores. Places to know who pays for their goods. People to know that we DO exist.

Does anyone purchase such checks or have any idea where one might find such grand things?

Thank you!

Oh wait, you said Gay Checks ...  :thatsright:

Isn't there that credit card that lets you put your own pictures on it?

Or maybe he could get his checks printed up with this:

Has that really been in question? I mean, I don't recall ever seeing Leonard Nimoy hosting an episode of "In Search Of...Teh Gays".

Hell, I can't even turn on HGTV without seeing a hommaseckshul couple looking to buy a house.

I guess I will never understand the need to announce my sexuality to others. Why is it for Heteros - it is what we do and for Homosexuals - it is what they are?

I think it's because Hetro is the "Default" setting for what we know, hence the need for the announcement.

I don't know.... I'll have to think on that. I would think that if I were pursuing someone, my sexuality would be obvious to those I pursued. And for all the rest, who cares what I am. Am I right?

Hi, I'm hetero.....  :lmao:

Most people like their privacy and don't want everyone to know every little detail and quirk about them.  A lot of people are self-conscious about their personal quirks, in fact.

Homosexuals are the only group that want you to know their business and not judge it in any way.

They want their pride and their victim status at the same time.

Regular people celebrate personal victories and accomplishments.  Homosexuals celebrate their diseases and the poor choices that often leads to an untimely death.

I don't think it is actually anything that can be understood.  That is why they push so hard for early indoctrination.

I agree, well stated.

Whether it is by them highlighting or perhaps me zeroing in on it, their homosexuality becomes their primary essence and I don't think it is necessary for me to know that detail to appreciate them as people. ..... Gay writer, gay designer, gay comic, gay senator.

It would seem that the OP asking the question about those checks would fall into a catgory called "Too gay to function"

Gay checks well.......are gay.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
