1. It's a responsibility we may or may not grow into.   
   
However, it could also keep a lot of important threads from being seen with the input of only a few disruptors, FReepers and trolls.

This gives too much power to groups to knock stories off the greatest page.

I know the greatest page isn't everything, but some of us only have time to pop in here every now and then and scan the hot topics each day.

I also know that groups can rate things up, but like I've said--this isn't as much power as the power to knock things down.

Yep, now the LGBT activists can kill those threads about homopedopheliacs .
