Recommend this thread if you agree that Rush Limbaugh should be thrown off Armed Forces Radio

Why is he still allowed to spew his anti-American hate over Armed Forces Radio? Our troops should not be subjected to his vitriol. I can understand why Bush needed his propaganda, but why has Obama allowed it to continue?

Lets jack this up with recommendations - please keep the comments clean and rational. Then send the link in an e-mail to your Congress members requesting the immediate termination Rush's hate show from Armed Forces Radio.

most of the groups that he hates on, women, jews, blacks, mexicans, democrats, obama supporters, etc, with the possible exception of the complete figments of his imagination, serve with distinction every day. so the are not only slandered on the radio, they are slandered in front of the other members of their unit.
how is that for unit cohesion?

Sounds more like DU than Rush.

Rush does have an "adopt a troop" program of sorts. You can buy them a Rush 24/7 membership and then they have the ability to download the podcasts at least.

In Japan, they played the 1 hour segment of Rush at 5am. Then they'd do his liberal follow on, it was Alan Colmes when I left, at 6 am, which much more people ended up listening to because work for most offices began around 7 or so.

The last attempt to rid AFRTS of Rush was led by none other then my Favorite Democratic Senator from Iowa - Tom "I was a combat pilot in Vietnam" Harkin. For those that missed it,Tom Harkin never even got close to the shores of Vietnam. His job was to fly jets from a carrier deck to a repair unit in the Phillippines. He left the Navy after his first few years with only a National Service ribbon and the rank of Lt jg.
