This President has been remarkably consistent in choosing people for pivotal appointments who will advance his radical leftist agenda. He has been especially diligent in rewarding the feminists and homosexual activists.

In a stunning move, President Barack Obama has nominated homosexual propagandist Kevin Jennings to be the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Education in charge of the “Safe and Drug-Free Schools” program. Aside from overseeing drug education programs, the term “safe” also means making public schools “safe” for alleged homosexual children; translated, this means Jennings’s position will be used to produce and disseminate pro-homosexual propaganda to America’s public schools.

Granted, homosexual propaganda in our schools has become common place, but the appointment of Jennings ensures that for the first time ever, the Federal government will be funding and promoting homosexual propaganda on a large scale basis. This nomination makes clear that President Obama believes America’s public school children should be exposed to deviant sexual lifestyles having nothing to do with academics.

Who is Jennings? He’s the founder and, until recently, the President of the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN), the nation’s leading homosexual pressure group working to insert homosexual propaganda into America’s public schools. GLSEN’s budget is in the millions and they are the driving force behind the formation of over 4000 homosexual clubs on our colleges, high schools and even middle schools. Most of these clubs were formed by homosexual faculty members trained by GLSEN.

Jenning’s view of Christians who actually believe what the Bible says about homosexuality is not flattering: “We have to quit being afraid of the religious right. Drop dead!” GLSEN’s materials repeatedly attack the foundational Christian belief that homosexuality is sinful and considers anyone who holds this belief to be “homophobic.” Naturally, GLSEN promotes books that misled students about what the Bible actually says about homosexuality.

We did everything.” Another GLSEN-recommended book has a story about a minor boasting about how he met his 25 year old “boyfriend” who “picked me up right away when I joined the group.”

Jennings was appointed to the position largely because of his longtime record of working to end bullying and discrimination in schools. In 1990, as a teacher in Massachusetts, he founded the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which now has over 40 chapters at schools nationwide. He has also published six books on gay rights and education, including one that describes his own experiences as a closeted gay student.

The OSDFS was created by the Bush administration in 2002. According to its Web site, one of its primary functions is to "provide financial assistance for drug and violence prevention activities and activities that promote the health and well being of students in elementary and secondary schools, and institutions of higher education."

Jennings' critics say he fits only half the bill, if that.

"Jennings was obviously chosen for this job because of the safe schools aspect... defining 'safe schools' narrowly in terms of 'safe for homosexuality'," Peter Sprigg, a senior fellow at the Family Research Council, told FOXNews.com.

Just what scale are they using, an Asian student gets a pass for buying grades.
The gay students get a pass for infringing on  young boys in  bathroom stalls
The Latino is expected due to culture to grab woman when they can.

Teachers get a full pass as did the principal in N,Y. that sold drugs to their students, the 40 some odd female teachers that have sexually abused their students, and the males that number more then the woman in High Jinks against both male and female students.

The more adults I meet that were home schooled the more I believe home schooling is a good choice for some parents.

The only problem with home schooling as far as I can see is that the kids that Really need it do not have parents that are equipped to do the job.

I myself could never teach math, I gave up trying to help the kids with math home work about the time they hit 3 rd. grade.

I imagine that not only does the child learn but the parent also learns right along with them.

My hats off to you RGS, and to all home schools that trade in their own life to educate 24/7 their children.

Now about these Safe Schools, phooey, once the kids that have been to these schools get out of school they will then have to deal for the rest of their life with the very people they were protected from as a kid.  Childhood is painfull for those that are a bit different, but through the years of bullying and being beaten up these kids learn how to avoid those that pick on them.

Regardless of why these kids need a Safe School, will they learn just how much worse is waiting for them when they grow up ?

To my thinking a Safe School should have students that are not able to fit into society at that point.  The Safe school should keep society safe from these children until that can live a civilized life.

President Obama has appointed Kevin Jennings, founder of GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network) — which sponsored the conference that produced the notorious “Fistgate” scandal (in which young teens were guided on how to perform dangerous homosexual perversions including “fisting”) — to head up “Safe Schools” efforts at the Department of Education. Jennings is a vicious, anti-religious bigot who once said “[F–k] ‘em” to the “Religious Right.” He supports promoting homosexuality and gender confusion as normative to even young students.  He made that comment in a New York City church. You can't make this stuff up. Obama has appointed this radical to head up our "safe schools"? But who is going to keep kids safe from him? I have said this before: I don't care what you do in the bedroom - whatever rocks your boat, as long as it's two consenting adults, but don't bring it into the classroom. The left will twist this into some homophobic charge. I am not, and that is a fallacious argument. This is another terrible Obama choice. Do not traumatize children. Why can't the schools just teach reading, writing, arithmetic and civics? There is radical in every Obama appointee.

Students as young as 12 given graphic instruction in homosexual sex by state employees

The Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN) is a national homosexual activist group targeting children in the public schools. Its founder, Kevin Jennings, was recently appointed to a high position in U. S. Department of Education by Barack Obama. GLSEN is part of the tax-supported Massachusetts Commission on Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Youth. (In fact, GLSEN's membership in that commission is mandated by law!)

On March 25, 2000, GLSEN put on a conference called "TeachOut" for kids across and public school teachers across Massachusetts. This conference was co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Department of Education.

At this conference children as young as 12 years old were taught by state employees how to engage in various extremely dangerous (and disgusting) homosexual sex acts. Scott Whiteman, then an employee of Parents Rights Coalition (as MassResistance was known then) attended the conference and tape-recorded those workshops. Soon afterwards, a tape was released with the actual voices of the adults -- state employees -- made during the workshop (described below).  That tape sent shock waves across the country. The story was covered by media in the US and other countries, and is even written about in several books. Soon afterwards a court banned the posting or distribution of the "Fistgate" tape until recently.

A teacher was told by a 15-year-old high school sophomore that he was having homosexual sex with an "older man." At the very least, statutory rape occurred. Fox News reported that the teacher violated a state law requiring that he report the abuse. That former teacher, Kevin Jennings, is President Obama's "safe school czar." It's getting hard to keep track of all of this president's problematic appointments. Clearly, the process for vetting White House employees has broken down.

In this one case in which Mr. Jennings had a real chance to protect a young boy from a sexual predator, he not only failed to do what the law required but actually encouraged the relationship.

According to Mr. Jennings' own description in a new audiotape discovered by Fox News, the 15-year-old boy met the "older man" in a "bus station bathroom" and was taken to the older man's home that night. When some details about the case became public, Mr. Jennings threatened to sue another teacher who called his failure to report the statutory rape "unethical." Mr. Jennings' defenders asserted that there was no evidence that he was aware the student had sex with the older man.

However, the new audiotape contradicts this claim. In 2000, Mr. Jennings gave a talk to the Iowa chapter of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, an advocacy group that promotes homosexuality in schools. On the tape, Mr. Jennings recollected that he told the student to make sure "to use a condom" when he was with the older man. That he actively encouraged the relationship is reinforced by Mr. Jennings' own description in his 1994 book, "One Teacher in 10." In that account, the teacher boasts how he allayed the student's concerns about the relationship to such a degree that the 15-year-old "left my office with a smile on his face that I would see every time I saw him on the campus for the next two years, until he graduated."
