Why Are Leftist/Socialist/Communist Regime Prone To Violent Endings?

I have noticed that many leftist/socialist/communist regimes end in bloodshed. Well save a few, like Poland. Any reasons why that happens and why the end in bloodshed?

Nazis Germany-World War II
Soviet Union-Christmas Day Coup
Fascist Italy-World War II. Benito Mussolini was executed and hanged in public.
Salvador Allende-September 11, 1973 Coup
Communist Romania-Nicolae CeauÅŸescu got executed
Baathist Iraq-America invaded Iraq in 2003

Their basic failing as enduring institutions is a lack of a reliable means to transition power, since they inevitably gravitate toward personal leadership rather than institutional leadership, which opens the door to coups or revolt as soon as the Great Leader falters.

You assume there will be a vote as to whether or not he gets a second term.

As to the original question:  Leftist regimes are usually dominated/supported by mobs of intellectually stunted, emotionally immature permanent juveniles.  Just like adolescents everywhere, when things don't go the way they intend, they lash out; sometimes it's actually against those whom they perceive as standing in the way of their objectives; most of the time it's at whoever is in arms reach.

Trying to teach a Leftist to understand the physical/economic/etc. laws that govern their utopian failures is like trying to teach an ape to write.  Eventually the ape is going to get so frustrated, he'll just stab you in the eye with the pen.

They are usually conceived through complacency and false promises.

They exist by intimidation and threat.

They go away unwillingly only when they are defeated, which is rarely possible without violence and bloodshed.

The absence of war is not peace.  Liberty will always require her defenders to be willing to fight and die so she may live.
