I'm not sure what, if anything, he did, but I recall watching a baseball game on TV.
It was from Candlestick Park, the SF Giants were playing, and the announcer asked for a moment of silence for Milk and some other gov't official that was killed/dead.
Above the silence, loud and clear, came a lone voice: "DEAD QUEER!"
