From Lindsay Beyerstein, on an article in LaPagina:
Inka Kola News, normally a business blog about Latin America, has become an invaluable source of news on the Honduran coup.

Today, IKN translates part a story in the Salvadoran daily LaPagina which quotes Honduras' new Chancellor, Enrique Ortez Colindres, describing Barack Obama as "a little black man who knows nothing."

Obama has been critical of the military coup that brought Ortez Colindres and his comrades to power about a week ago.

The Chancellor is basically Honduras' foreign minister, so Ortez Colindres is off to a great start.


Great start, indeed! I checked with some friends who speak fluent Spanish and the choice of words implies something more like "Obama is a know-nothing black boy" (with "boy" in this case meaning inexperienced). Still, what a way to win friends and influence people.

Know-nothing-black-boy.  Hmmm I like.  They're all up in arms over there, except for one guy, who said "100% correct."   NOW they like the CIA, they want them to come to the rescue, and save their damsel in distress.

What the Hondurans need to do is fire a few missiles into the ocean, make deals with Iran, and kill demonstrators. They Lord O will be just fine with them.
