Meet the new champion

The Corgi pup is now a confirmed AKC champion and has 4 herding titles in addition to his AKC championship.
He swept the Durango Dog Show, winning 3 majors on three days, and getting his championship.  Here are the pics from the winners circle...





And the Championship photo...



My wife's friend took him up to Durango and showed him on all three days.  That's her you can see in some of the photos.  We tried to pay her for this, she wouldn't accept any money.  That lady is a real gift to humanity.

Durango, as in Colorado?  (sigh)...there be lots of moonbats there, but damn if that isn't pretty country, and only an hour from my old stomping grounds (Farmington).

AWESOME Mexican restaurant downtown...Francisco's, IIRC.  You can't NOT go there.

Although I'm partial to the Pembrokes over the Cardigans, that's still a fine looking pup. Congrats on his win.
