most (?) young people didn't finish high school. the stats are out there.

they barely can read and write. I'm not exaggerating. nor do they want to learn how.

there isn't any 'up' for these young people. those of us who can read and write are paying the price.

meth use is rampant and doesn't seem stoppable.

cities and states are crumbling as I type this.

prisons are full to the brim.

the neo cons are fighting for private health care.

down and down our country spirals. its depressing.

Seems to me if ya gots a strong back and any kind of the idea of self preservation, it just ain't that hard. Many of the guys I worked with dropped out of school. Many of them also self educated themselves enough to start their own companies. Hmmm, could it be that the way to success is just self worth?

Oh, damn it, I forgot we're talking DUmp monkey. Can't get by without mental illness. Kinda shoots a hole in the self preservation theory.

If I go a single day without learning something new, I feel like I've wasted a day. Wonder how that works over at the DUmp? Is there a way they can collectively learn? Lord knows they can't do anything else on their own.

Yeah, but at least she's cute (Right, Gramps!).  You'd think a group who want to convince others to see things their way would at least try some decent PR just to see if something works, but there I go using that "think" word in reference to the DUmmies.
