Twit voy looking for a job
« on: June 16, 2009, 05:02:55 PM »
I'm sure you all remember how she quit her supervisory job at Target in protest of some supposed bouncy tale.
Now the DUmmie is out looking for a new job.

So I've been looking for a new job and it has not been going well

I realized the economy was shit, but I can't even get an interview for the most basic of jobs.

The problem is half the places you go to aren't hiring, and the other half have freaking crazy job requirements. I applied to be a receptionist/file clerk at one company and was told I needed a bachelors. Are you freaking kidding me? A bachelors to answer phones and file papers for $12/hour?

I even applied at a local Siemens manufacturing plant and was told not to bother because they are shutting down at the end of the year.

WTF is going on with this country?

2. I don't really NEED anything soon honestly

I have been saving for years and not going in to debt. I can still get by fine for at least another 18 months with out going in to retirement savings.

My main concern is where we will be 18 months from now as a country. For a "recovery" it sure doesn't look like one.

Oh my.

I was wrong.

For once, a primitive did not lie.

When the Twix candy bar primitive quit its job at Target, I insisted no, the Twix candy bar primitive was making it all up.

Ooops.

JR, having been exposed to Bondai for a while now, I'd hazard a guess and say that he won't be offended in the least.  :cheersmate:

My wife was offered a job at Best Buy, and she wasn't even there looking.  Yep...  real hard to find they are.

The US Postal service is offering jobs STARTING at over 12 per hour doing data entry here.  Remote sorting of mail,  mundane as hell, but easy money if you can type a little and can concentrate.  Dope heads need not apply
You see, I don't care you how feel.  I really don't.  More importantly, neither does anyone else.  Only about 200 people on a planet of 7 billion actually care about your feelings, and that's if you're lucky.  The sooner you grasp this lesson, the better off you will be.  And since almost no one gives a damn what you do, say, think, or feel, appealing to your feelings when you encounter differences of opinion is not only illogical, but useless.

Wow, two places told him no. What about the other 10,000 places to apply?
