How close can they be if she doesn't even know why her daughter is pissed at her? If hubby's only fault (this week) was that he was a little gruff why the hell did daughter need to be protected? "Gruff" is a good quality in a man...tends to balance the opposite in women.

First she says she is "done with her" (pretty damn final if you ask me), then she says she is the most awesome person in the world.  I suspect this is how Greenbriar was during her whole daughters life, totally inconsistent and confusing with angry outbursts.  Looks like she continued the family tradition, her daughter hates her just as she hated her mother.

I'd bet all this "drama" is in her(greenbriar) head. This move was prolly arranged weeks ago but gb was so downed out on pain killers she didn't know what was goin on....

Nope, DUmmie Greenbriar will blame it on the ultra-conservative education driving wedges between them.  Lord knows she has done everything completely the opposite of her own mother, therefore it can't be her fault.
