Moving out (and moving in) Day
« on: February 20, 2008, 02:00:42 PM »
I will no longer be as cranky as I have been the past couple of weeks so.  It's time to move out.   :cheersmate:

Oh, and my room-mate got this letter from the Division of Student Affairs today.  It got stuck under my door, but it has my room-mate's name on it.  I won't open it, but I have a good idea what's in that letter.   :rotf:

Never met the new room-mate (schedules clash, apparently), but from what others have told me, she's a good person (and has good taste in leather couches... lol )

God, moving sucks (I have more crap than I  thought I did), but I will be a happier person in the end.   :cheerleader2:

Well, the new apartment I'm going to is in the same complex.  A couple of buildings down from the old one.

Not really.  I just got all the big items in, and of course, got the laptop set up with the cable modem.  I'm taking a break, and then will go back out for the smaller items.

Sadly, no.   I'm not too worried about it.  The price was better than I was expecting, though.  They had the exact same tires that were on the car originally, so I'm pleased.

yeah, one situation is over and done with, for now.  Like I said,  I'll be keeping a close eye on things the next few days, as my room-mate finally got a letter from Student Affairs(which deals in such matters) .   It will be interesting to see what happens.

Hey, I did NOT hold it up to the light.   But I just figured since it's from Student Affairs, and the way they wrote her name on the envelope:  "Miss P******" (editing her   last name for privacy) Apt 604,"  it has everything to do with what's been going on in the apartment.  I'm sure it's just a warning, but I'm hoping I'll be able to borrow my new room-mate's lawn chair so I can sit and watch while she gets evicted.

Are you concerned because of the slashed tires that now that she got a warning things could get a lot uglier?

Okay, I finally met the new room-mate.   She is definitely better than that other one.

Keeps the tv on constantly, but that doesn't bother me (something I'm used to, I guess), but never blasts the stereo like the other room-mate did.

She seems to be older than me (but not by much), and actually behaves in a mature fashion.

And she has a far more normal name.  LOL
