Why do Nazis get branded "right-wing" extremist?
« on: June 10, 2009, 10:44:39 PM »
Nazi = National Socialism

Nationalism = Collectivism

Socialism = Collectivism

Collectivism = Leftist ideology

Collectivism is the opposite of the individual liberty guaranteed in the Constitution we wish to conserve (Conservatism).

Sorry, but it pisses me off when this is not emphasized, and right wingers must unfairly bear the insult of being even remotely associated with these scumbags. :banghead:

Just simple intellectual dishonesty from the left.  Both sides use the broad brush, but the left is far more consistent in this case.

A long time ago I read something about it being propaganda by the Soviet Union and their fellow travelers to paint the Nazi's as being right wing and then tarring the right wing with that.

Essential, it is the lie that was told long enough that people began to believe it.

Sorry for the mini-rant. Normally I would be scanning the DUmp for some gems of stupidity to throw into "The DUmpster," but found post after post referring to the nazi Von Brunn as a right wing whack job. The unfairness just kind of got to me more than usual tonight I guess.

I wish this could be turned around, and the lie revealed to the general apolitical public, and the leftist fascists can take due credit for one of their own whack jobs.

Here's a DUmmy denial link:

Unbelievable! Freepers are painting their own poster, von Brunn, as a far leftist!

Thanks, watching the DUmmiies chase their own tails (or tales) always cheers me up a little.

Its typical primitive behavior - everyone on the island uses all sorts of mental gymnastics to label people they don't like as right-wing. And everyone they admire as a Democrat. It reminds me of Star-Trek's Pavel Chekov, and how everything useful was invented in Russia.
