Jewish Leaders Losing Patience With Obama Policy

President Barack Obama was set to leave for Middle East on Tuesday evening in a trip the White House is billing as an effort to reach out to the Muslim world.

The president will travel to Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

But some early signals from the administration already have some American Jews worried.

Weeks of public and private jousting by the Obama administration with Israel and its American Jewish supporters have taken a toll so great that even the president's scheduled trip to the former Nazi concentration camp at Buchenwald, Germany elicited this reaction.
"Frankly I'm much more concerned about living Jews than paying tribute to dead Jews," said Malcolm Hoenlein, executive director of the Conference of Major Jewish Organizations

I wonder if he'll apologize for the "atrocities"  committed during the liberation of Buchenwald. 

Will he finally find time to visit any US military personnel in Germany?

Where were the Jewish leaders BEFORE the election, to warn their fellow Americans and American Jews to the dangers of an Obama POTUS to the US and Israel.

 This American Jew wonders how a people - Jews - can be so intelligent re medicine, science, stratagy, invention, literature, music, art, etc. but so stupid when it comes to their own  survival.

Especially in this case.  He was pretty much as open as Adolf about his opinions.  They voted for him anyway.

Didn't 0bama claim his uncle was involved in the liberation of Buchenwald?  I mean, I know he threw grandma under the bus, but his entire family?

I think you're right. It might be interesting to see how he reconciles his desire to apologize for the US's actions in the past, and his all consuming ego which will push him to brag about his great uncle.

I went to a fundraiser for Jeb Bush's 2nd term, what, 5-6 years ago, organised by his Dad's Ambassador
to Australia, and a fellow Jew.  I questioned him on "why" and he said "You'd be surprised how many of "us"
are Conservative!".  Well, "we" are afraid to proclaim it, then?

He could be forgiven, I guess in missing out the name of the camp.   Auchwitz was liberated by the Russians in January of 45.  When word first came out about the place, people thought it was just Russian exaggeration, until Black US units found Buchenwald in March. 
But the liberators of the concentrations camps in the US area of operations (Buchenwald, Dachau, Therezienstat) were by weird fate either black or Japanese.  And the uncle in question would have been white, and unlikely to have been part of those units.

US GIs who were Jewish were put into Buchenwald, so when the first troops found them, the reports were about abuse of US GIs. Dachau was liberated in April, (again by Black and Japanese troops) because US troops move south into Bavaria thinking Hitler had gone into hiding there.   US troops  US troops got as far east as Therezienstat, Czechoslovakia in May.

It just shows the usual 0bama lack of basic research or distaste for truth in any form.
