Sunny Sunday

And for the workaholics among us, celebrate.  When you get off shift.

Been here since 6 am, working until 6 tonight.  Will not have a day off until next Sunday (at least).

At least it's not raining/crappy outside, so if'n I gotta work outside today, it's a good day for it.

Sunny Sunday here, too, so far.  Spent all day at various kid's activities yesterday (Gone for 12 hours, and was never more than 5 miles from my house!).  Also was informed yesterday that my oldest has another game scheduled for today (After a double header yesterday).  They are making up a game that was rained out last week.

After that game, my other son has a practice, too.

My goal is to survive though June 14.

What a great day. Been up since 4:30 and soon will be done with laundry already. Good times.  :-)

Will be hitting Albertson's for a 3 day produce sale, they have a few good deals that include California berries.

Enjoy!

I'll be almost Rednecking today....watching NASCAR sans-beer.

Petty Motorsports or whatever it's called now had all 4 cars Quallify in the top 10. Now something is up with that and it should make an interesting race. Considering that they haven't done well in years and all of a sudden this, the after race inspections might be even more interesting.

Belle, our golden retriever, leaped into bed this morning at 5:30 to announce her presence, then after she and I went outside so she could do her business, managed to sneak past me back into the house, re-leaped into the bed with Mrs. E (complete with wet, cold paws due to the really nice dew on the grass) and successfully got Mrs. E out of bed.

After that, time to feed the parrots and get them up, then off to walk Belle on a 3-miler. Will go to church this morning, but I ain't sure about Sunday school.

Am looking for somebody who does web design. I have a small project for which I am happy to compensate that person. Interested persons please PM me.

Other than that, the yardwork is done for the next 2 days (maybe) and I have to practice. Gotta cook and freeze some parrot food. A meeting tonight. Maybe squeeze a nap in there somewhere.

Yep, good times indeed!

Just checked the weather forecast.  36 tonight--frost warning.

Just when I got the herb garden going again.  Oh well, time to get some more plants, if Home Depot has any left.

Will you be home in time to cover the plants? I used to use empty milk jugs or other plastic containers. Heck, even a blanket might work.

Well just call him up and tell him to drop you off a little bit of that global warming.

Hanging out for a little while, then I have to go to work.

Been playing on Facebook, and laughing at someone's unfortunate result in the "What Were You In a Past Life" quiz (then again, I shouldn't laugh, because I got the same result  :censored: That quiz is RIGGED, I tell ya!)

Hey Guys!

Had a pretty great weekend.  :)

We went sailing yesterday on a 32 footer that belonged to a friend of my BIL and spent the last couple of nights doing campfires in the backyard.

Life is pretty good right now.

I'm at work today, so it's more of the same.  Answer phone, post on interwebs, answer phone, go to lunch...

Goodness.  I'm TIRED.  My oldest boy played in double headers yesterday AND today.  4 games this weekend, with a roster of 11 players!  Won 3 out of the 4, though!

Will there be Baklava & Gyros? Yummy.

We had a sunny afternoon....after leaving the car wash, I took a couple shots of the skyline.
