Here's a story.Last night four friends are standing on the sidewalk in the late May dusk. A disturbed man approaches with menacing body lanuage and shouts as he passes by:"I'M SICK OF ALL THESE HONKIES, WHITE HONKIES ALL OVER THE PLACE MUMBLE YELL HONKIES........."He passed by and goes about 5o paces and STOPS and looks back at the four who didn't move. Then he starts COMING BACK. Telling us to "Go."In obvious danger, we did. He's sick of the honkies and he's blaming everything on them. He was Hispanic and emotionally disturbed.Someone commented "they're not picking up 5150's any more" meaning our bankrupt city.There's plenty of bias and blame and pain to go around.Don't add to the MISOGYNY THAT IS AT THE BASE OF ALL OF OUR PROBLEMS.

Use of the B word also earns you negative points for insensitivity and an obtuse approach to gender issues. I don't think "all" White Women or White Men or Black Women or Little Green Men are routine "blamers" of any sort. I despise that Bill Maher construct you are using--I know he delivers it as a joke in his little New Rules segments, but it's using a very wide brush to paint a very narrow line. Not clever, particularly when talking about a majority group in America (women, no matter what their color or ethnicity) who have gotten the crappy end of the stick, routinely, throughout history. It's as stupid as saying "White Men need to stop serially killing women in droves" and referencing that BTK Killer and Ted Bundy to back up that absurd remark.
