Want single-payer? Demand it. Let your Congresscritters know that the public will is a greater force than the lucre from the insurance companies. The penalty for opposing the interests of the people is greater than any possible benefits they can buy with the bribes that the insurance companies are waving in front of them.

Want torture trials? An end to war? Good environmental law? Demand them.

It used to be that you could buy your way into popular esteem--and political office--by buying enough TV ads. It's time the politicians learned that a new game is afoot. The public is no longer a herd of passive propaganda recipients. We are now talking to each other, communicating and forming a national (and global) consciousness that is unlike anything they have had to deal with in the past. New rules are coming into play, and those who fail to recognize the fact are destined for a place in the Museum of Extinct Politicians.

OK, the original guy talks about "the will of the people" for this thing and that.  But, every issue he mentions, like single-payer, environaziism, torture trials all have the majority against what this guy believes (source: Rasmussen).  It appears that even though Obama continues to get approval ratings, his policies do not.  An American Idol president, elected by stupid sheeple starf***ers if there ever was one.

After having said that, then all the changes have to do with the gov't getting involved in people's lives.  It seems their viewpoint is "I want everyone else to change and I want to keep on doing exactly what I've been doing all along."  Not interested.
