DU Job Posting
There should be a job posting board.
Does one exist?
A job posting board would be great....but I'm too lazy to look and see if one exists.

3. I'll start: Poor college student in Phoenix needs job ASAP.
I'll do whatever anyone wants me to do. I just need money.

23. Never offer "whatever" on DU. You never know what could come up.
It might even be too much fun for one person to have.
Some good career advice. Never say "I'll do anything" on the DUmp. You might not like what they think falls inside the realm of "anything".

10. since I"m looking for work, I also like the idea of a separate job board... the only
thing that worries me is whether freepers could sabotage employment of DUers that way.
I recall how a single comment I made here once was carried through Michelle Malkin and all the conservative blogosphere as "looney" or insane.
My concern would be that a job board would need to be protective of actual identities in some way to prevent cyberstalking by freeper idiots.
Lerkfish posts considered "looney" or insane? How improbable is that? Downright unpossible.

15. Nobody here owns businesses. We're all workers.
We're not rich. We're poor slobs trying to get jobs or keep the jobs we have. Who the hell would hire us or post jobs for us?
Now, you go to the freeper boards...they have money and they can post jobs. But we will never get them.
I'm sure your boss asks himself, "Who the hell hired this idiot?", everyday. And nice self-pity there DUmmie. "Waaa, the Freepers have all the jobs and they won't give me one...". LOL

Clean driving record and can pass a drug test
Still looking for a DUmmie that actually wants to work and can pass a drug test. Still failing.

20. sounds like a great idea. now you need a mission statement.

need another thread with a mission statement, and i think you need 10 people to agree that they would like to be a part of that group.
you will need to flog this fairly regularly, i suspect. seems like something where interest for any particular member would be short lived.
How's this for a Mission Statement: "Get a job ya freak." Think that will work? And yes interest would be short-lived. You want to give me $50K a year...I'll take it...Oh, you want me to work for it?...I'm not so interested anymore.
And, as a self-fulfilling prophecy, after 11 hours of life, the thread burns out in 34 replies.
