I walked into the local bar Saturday night and walked over to the local Chevrolet dealer and asked, "What are you guys up to?"

"We were trying to figure out how to assassinate Obama," was the reply I got! Followed by and embarrassed "No" and a red face.
The local church deacon was visibly NOT on board with the comment.

What is a person supposed to do about this kind of blatant racism and hatred?
I guess one thing is to boycott the business, if you do any business there to begin with.
But how do we counter this and make some of these people get their heads on right?

First of all, if this REALLY happened, wouldn't L. Coyote have already informed the Secret Service since he knows that this is the local Chevy dealer?  And secondly, if this REALLY happened, wouldn't we be reading a thread about how L. Coyote thwarted an assassination attempt?

At work I got accused of being a "hater" because I wasn't cheering the new messiah on inauguration day.
I said I don't hate Obama I just don't believe he is right for the job. Then I mentioned my dream candidate is Condi Rice.  :-)

A. Maybe this was a response along the lines of "What the f kinda business is it of yours what we are talking about?"
B. How does everything negative about Obama come to mean something racist?
C. From a grave pisser how can you even begin to think about calling anything hate?  You are the definition of hate.
D. It is a stupid story.
E.  I want to know exactly how you think you should counter that same situation if it ever actually happens.

That's how I figure it, too.  Something similar was likely said by one of them, and the rest were more or less shocked at its inappropriate nature.

 Folks who think that they are 100% patriotic while making comments about the county failing and the President being harmed. Under * I never would have spoken out on either issue for fear of being hauled in under the 'Patriot Act'. There are some awful folks out there, no getting around it. My sister refers to the President as Barry as a slam. If I could have called * what I wanted to I still wouldn't print it here.
