Tueday/Monday after a long weekend...
« on: May 26, 2009, 08:59:35 AM »
What's up?

Raining here, and looks like it will be wet through Thursday.  Had a good weekend...went to 2 different neighbors for BBQs, which is unusual for us, as we tend to be loners.  But we had a good time!  Lots of baseball, some good, some bad.

My week looks interesting...Dr appt in the am, helping out at the 3rd grade picnic/party day on Thursday (Friday, if Thursday is bad weather).  Ticket sales almost every day through June 14.

Finances are a little tight, which has me a bit worried, but life goes on.

39 this morning, 65 today, rain and 51 tomorrow.  Work is work, hours are long.

That is all.

Gorgeous here(again). Expecting storms sometime today. Kids are off today. Already worked out, cleaned out and detailed the car on the inside, kids played for a couple hours outside...just kind of having some downtime inside now since it's pretty humid out. Everyone is gradually getting more and more of a tan. That's about it.

i'm tired after a bad day at work.  At least 5 people called in today, with only 2 people willing to come in to replace them.  :(

spent the night at a hotel last night, after the motor in the a/c unit burned out. :censored:  It was wonderful sleeping in such a nice bed (my favorite, Marriott Springhill Suites, with a college discount  :cheersmate: ) with the a/c turned to "freeze me near to death."  :hyper: :lmao:  And breakfast was nice, making my own waffle with their wafflemaker... mmmmm.
